Minor surgery: The Practice holds minor surgery clinics on an ad-hoc basis when there is sufficient numbers to justify a morning or afternoon clinic. Before being accepted on the list, patients must first be assessed by a clinician who will thereafter add them to the waiting list where appropriate. The Practice will contact patients when a clinic is being arranged to offer an appointment. The procedures are carried out under local anesthetic in one of our treatment rooms. Suitable conditions are skin tag and cyst removal etc.
Joint injections: We have two GP’s and an Advanced GP Physiotherapist trained in these procedures. Again, assessment from a clinician is required prior to an appointment being arranged.
